Stone Foundation Features Include: 

 

-Excavation and leveling of the site.
-Installation of a pressure-treated 4x6 wood perimeter.
-Anchored with ½" x 24" rebar stakes driven through the 4x6s for stability.
-4x6s are set approximately 1" above ground level at the door side for a low step-up.
-A layer of geotextile woven weed fabric separates the stone from the ground improving drainage, increasing stability, and preventing weed growth
-Filled with 3-6 inches of compacted ¾" clean stone to create a strong, long-lasting base.

 

Site Condition & Pricing Disclaimer:
Prices are based on the site being within 8 inches of level. If the pad area is more than 8 inches off level, additional charges may apply, determined by the site crew at the time of installation.

 

Obstruction Fees:
If digging through rock, tree stumps, or heavy root systems is required, additional labor and equipment charges will be assessed.

 

Soil Handling Policy:
All excavated dirt is intended to be used around the perimeter of the foundation for grading. If dirt must be hauled off-site, an additional fee will be applied.
